About Latitude statements

Latitude Financial Services issues two of Australia's most widely held consumer-finance credit cards: CreditLine, the interest-free payment card behind purchases at Harvey Norman, Domayne and other major retailers, and Gem Visa, its everyday interest-free Visa. Statements arrive monthly as PDFs from the Latitude App or online service centre, and they look nothing like a bank statement. Transactions sit in a Date | Card | Description table with separate Debits and Credits columns, no running balance is printed against any row, and the document is padded with promotional-offer tables and payment slips that routinely trip up generic converters — those sections contain dated, dollar-amounted rows that are not transactions at all. Ledger Pilot's card extractor reads the actual column positions on the page, so purchases, payments, fees — even counter-intuitive rows like an EFT refund of an overpaid balance, which Latitude records as a debit — land on the correct side every time. The running balance is computed from your opening balance and verified against the printed closing balance to the cent; a misread row produces a flagged discrepancy, never a silently wrong file. Export Excel, CSV, Xero, MYOB (QIF) or QuickBooks (QBO) files with every amount correctly signed for a credit-card account.

Frequently asked questions

How do I download my CreditLine or Gem Visa statement as a PDF?

Log in to the Latitude App or the Latitude online service centre, open Statements, choose the statement month, and download the PDF. Statements are issued monthly and remain available online.

My Latitude statement doesn't show a running balance — how do you reconcile it?

Card statements print only an opening and closing balance. We compute the running balance from your opening balance across every transaction and verify it lands exactly on the printed closing balance, to the cent. If any row was misread, the conversion is flagged with the discrepancy instead of giving you a file that silently looks complete.

Will the promotional-offer tables on my statement mess up the conversion?

No. CreditLine statements list current and expired promotional plans in tables that contain dates and dollar amounts but aren't transactions. The extractor recognises those sections and excludes them, so only real transactions reach your export file.

Is Gem Visa supported, or just CreditLine?

Both are Latitude cards issued from the same statement system. The layout is certified against real CreditLine statements, and every conversion is independently verified by the closing-balance reconciliation — so if your statement differs in any way, you'll be told rather than handed a bad file.

Can I import a Latitude statement into Xero?

Yes. Convert the PDF to our Xero CSV and import it into your credit-card account in Xero via Accounting > Bank Accounts > Import a Statement. Purchases are signed negative and payments positive, matching how Xero expects credit-card activity.
